JOB DESCRIPTION: Estimator and Site Engineer/Inspector

Prepares office and site estimates, abstracts of bids, updates of current prices of building materials

Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal) with ability to interact across multiple disciplines.

A high level of computer literacy, basically MS Excel, MS Word and Power point

Experience in Civil, Structural, Buildings estimation.

Liaise with Engineering Discipline Engineers to obtain necessary input for Level of Estimate.

Liaise with Procurement Department and Vendors for Cost Inputs.

Liaise with Project Control Department to obtain Execution Schedule at various project stages.

Inspect construction site and review construction plans

Respond to site complaints

Coordinate utilities by reviewing all plans and time frames and ensuring that all work is carried out in logical order.

Make sure that any activity has an approved shop drawing, method statement, quality control procedure, and inspection and test plan.
